MARQUETTE — Several recent stars in the local high school cross country scene were winners in the Marquette Senior High School Turkey Trot held on Thanksgiving Day.

Seppi Camilli, who just completed his cross country season as Upper Peninsula Division 1 runner-up for the Sentinels, won the five-kilometer male division in 17 minutes, 21 seconds.

Talon Prusi, a 2020 graduate of Negaunee High School who has spent her collegiate running career at Northern Michigan University, won the female 5K in 19:41.

Lolson Kytta captured the 10K male division in 39:03, while Erica Nelson won the 10K female division in 46:54.

In addition, in the dog divisions, Nugget was the 5K winner in 24:26 and Maple the 10K victor in 44:11.
