Got to love U.P.
To the Journal editor:
Coming soon, spring flowers on the way leaves on the trees, green grass and most of all dry roads better driving for me. The seasons of change is not the same weather being in Hawaii in the U.S. Coast Guard. It’s nice weather year-round, but being a so-called looper from the U.P. of Michigan I don’t care for all that.
Also, in the U.S. Air Force in Miami, Florida, for two years it was not for me lots of people, hurricanes, and pretty hot. Also, most don’t know way down south the daylight hours. Don’t change much in winter. It’s darker for almost 8 months. We have more daylight some good thoughts about weather. Just to add in no tornadoes, floods, fires, earthquakes, etc. So get out and enjoy the beauty.
We have each season in the U.P. of Michigan. It’s not the same thing every day and on a note on staying positive don’t watch the news. Most is not good. Time will tell and hope we can get back to respect and care for each other.
For me, as I have said the way of the Lord is what helps me most. Don’t worry and let God help you and not getting depressed one day at a time and remember many blessings, decent health, vision, hearing and to get out and still move around, so thank you, Lord for the so-called seasons of change and the beauty of nature, lakes, wooded areas, and still be able to find a peaceful place in the many places we can go and get away from our fast pace world happy days.
