To the Journal editor:

On behalf of the Lake Superior Detachment 764 Marine Corps League, in conjunction with Toys For Tots, we would like to thank all the businesses, organizations, veterans groups and individuals in Marquette County that helped with our 2024 Toys Campaign.

Without the community’s support, we would not be able to do what we are able to accomplish.

We delivered toys to the Marquette, Negaunee and Gwinn St. Vincent dePaul Stores and the Ishpeming and Marquette Salvation Army, helping over 1,379 children in the county, collecting over 5,044 toys, stocking stuffers and books.

Monetary and toy donations stay in Marquette County.

Just because Christmas is over with, doesn’t mean we stop, the Toys For Tots program is a year long program and you can always donate locally by checking out the toysfortots.org website. Thank you all.
