Leonard Parker

Born February 16, 1932, in Marquette, a son of Delbert and Mildred (Lenore) Parker, Leonard was raised in Marquette. In 1952 Leonard was united in marriage to Dorothy E. Bancroft. Together the couple made their home in Marquette where they raised their family. Throughout the years he loved to sit on his porch and watch the world go by.

Leonard is survived by his children, Bonnie (John) Longhi of Crystal Falls, MI; Leonard R. (Julie) Parker of Marquette and Peggy (Phil) Mickelson of Lake Worth, TX.; daughters-in-law, Margaret Parker and Cindy Parker; his grandchildren, Misiel Conlen (Chuck), Richard Parker, Robert Longhi (Sadie), Nicole Kazik (Matt), Christopher Parker, Jessica Nancarrow (Bryan), Andrea Parker and Lincoln Parker (fiancee, Becca Walton); a sister, Sandy (Rodney) Runion; and many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and grandparents, Leonard was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy; a young daughter, Jayne; and sons, Clark, Alan, James, and Paul. Leonard was also preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.

Graveside services will be held at a later time.

The family would like to thank Lake Superior Life Care and Hospice and Trillium House for all that they did to make Leonard’s transcendence as loving and peaceful as possible.
