Sandra Bogetto

ISHPEMING, MI- Sandra Ann (Thibaudeau) Bogetto, age 88, long-time Ishpeming resident passed away on Saturday, March 1, 2025, at Brookridge Heights while in the loving care of her family, U.P. Home Health and Hospice and staff at Brookridge.
Sandra was born in Green Bay, WI on March 18, 1936, a daughter of the late Milton and Margaret (Dorner) Thibaudeau. She graduated from Luxemburg High School, Class of 1954, and attended a business school in Green Bay.
Sandra enjoyed painting, baking, flower gardening, knitting especially hats for newborn babies born at Bell Hospital. She also enjoyed reading and working on word search puzzles.
Sandra was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church for many years and recently a member of St. Christopher Catholic Church in Marquette.
Sandra is survived by her husband Anthony Bogetto whom she married on September 4, 1965, three daughters, Stacie Nardi, Tricia (Mark) Schlicht and Nadine (David) Ruokolainen, six grandchildren; Adrianna Bogetto, Antonia Nardi, Nicolas (Carlin) Schlicht, Quintin Schlicht, Dylan Ruokolainen, and Megan Ruokolainen, three great grandchildren Gavin, Tanner and Logan Cadeau, sister-in-law Pat Hill, brother-in-law Bob Hill, sister-in-law Maryann Moore along with nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Margaret Thibaudeau, her mother-in-law Mary Bogetto, father-in-law Barth Bogetto, and brother-in-law Tom Moore.
Sandra’s family will greet relatives and friends from 12:00 noon – 1:00 pm on Friday, March 7, 2025, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Ishpeming where her Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 pm with Fr. Larry Van Damme as celebrant.
A luncheon will follow in the church fellowship hall.
Sandra’s family would like to thank the staff at Brookridge Heights and U.P. Home Health and Hospice for the wonderful care provided for Sandra in her final days.
