Andra Sullivan

She was born on January 15, 1961 in Rhinelander, WI to Justin and Sally Swee. Andra was raised in Gladstone, MI and attended Northern Michigan University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music.

Music was her greatest passion and she was an accomplished multi-instrumentalist, playing piano, flute and piccolo in various bands and groups. Andra taught piano and flute lessons for over 35 years and loved teaching. She played flute in the Marquette Symphony Orchestra and Marquette City Band. She also played piano in various swing and jazz ensembles, including in the Westerly Winds Big Band.

Andra was also an avid world traveler, skier and enjoyed sailing on Little Bay de Noc and Lake Superior. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and all who were ever lucky enough to have known her.

Andra is survived by her mother, Sally Swee; son, Ryan Swee; husband, John Sullivan; stepdaughter, Erin Marie Sullivan; brother, Bradley (Denise) Swee; nephew, Jeremiah Swee; niece, Amy Swee; and various aunts, uncles and cousins.

She is preceded in death by her father, Justin Swee.

Honoring the families wishes a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
