Patricia Kantola

Patricia was born in Marquette on May 28, 1946, daughter of the late Francis and Eleanor (Windsand) Baird. She was a graduate of Negaunee High School, following graduation she went on to attend beauty school, and secretary school. She worked as a secretary at Ted’s paint and drywall for many years before going on to work for many years as a care aid with Pathways.

Patricia had a love for animals, especially her cats, and often was called upon as a cat and dog sitter by her friends and family. She also loved flowers, going to rummage sales, antiquing, playing dominoes with the girls, and loved lending a helping hand to others, that truly made her happy. Patricia was a faithful member of the Kingdom hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, where she leaves behind many friends and family in faith.

Patricia is survived by her daughter- Dawn (John) Kirby, 3 siblings- Mary Farley, Ted Baird, Mike (Mickey) Baird, grandson- Phillip Turner, best friend- Paulette Vidlund, her favorite cat- Uno Unk, along with several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00pm on Saturday January 25, 2025 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses 2245 US-41 Marquette with John Silva officiating.
