Pamela Nault
ISHPEMING, MI- Pamela Anne Eleanor Nault, age 72, an Ishpeming resident passed away on Monday, January 20, 2025, at UP Health System Marquette, MI.
Pamela was born in Escanaba MI. on August 19, 1952, the daughter of the late Stanley and Jenny (Viitala) Vachon. Pamela graduated from St. Ignace LaSalle High School in 1970, she then attended Ferris State University graduating with an associate’s degree in social work.
While working at Symon’s Hardware Store in Ishpeming she enjoyed helping others with her expertise in the home improvement department. Known as “Saint Pammy” she took pride in helping those less fortunate as a social worker at St. Vincent de Paul. Pam was an avid reader of many topics, she enjoyed picking Lake Superior agates; especially at Agate Beach in Toivola, she also enjoyed photography taking pictures of nature and her favorite: bumble bees. But the most important time of all was spending with family and friends.
Pam is survived by two sons Max (Kristen Henson) Nault, and Marshal (Ashley) Nault, two granddaughters; Vera and Cambree Nault, two sisters; Clara Braden and Helmi Courtade, a brother Philip Vachon, along with several nieces and nephews: Lori Karvonen, Steve Vachon, Jason Braden, Briana Braden Ware, Mark Vachon, Andy Vachon, Jess Vachon, William Vachon, Dylan Vachon, David Vachon, Jenny Vachon, Danielle Vachon Edge, Zach Courtade, Phil Attee, Xavier Attee, Ed Attee, and Erik Benko.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents Stanley and Jenny, her husband Peter Nault and brothers, Erik, Johnny, Victor, and Stanley.
A Celebration of Pam’s life is tentatively scheduled from 2:00 – 4:00 pm on Friday June 6, 2025, at the Bjork and Zhulkie Funeral Home in Ishpeming. Pam’s obituary may be viewed at bjorkandzhulkie.com where relatives and friends may leave a note of remembrance.
