Marian Baird

She was born on June 14, 1941 in Long Beach, California to the late Herbert and Pauline (Meyerson) Fowler. Marian married Michael Baird on April 16, 1965 in California. She worked as a CNA for many years and later worked in Home Health Care. Marian enjoyed cooking, baking, hosting board and card nights. Marian and Mike enjoyed traveling to Desert Gold RV Resort in Arizona every winter as Marian loved to travel. She was very well known for her love of socializing and chatted with most everyone she met.

Marian is survived by her husband: Michael Baird; four daughters: Tracy Son, Tina (Todd) Arsenault, Leeann (Terrence) Little, Melanie (Greg) Townsend; six grandchildren: Emily Son, Katie Howerton, Johnathan Townsend, Lauren Arsenault, Matthew Arsenault, and Jason (Stephanie) Townsend; one great-grandchild: Jeffrey Gearhard; daughter-in-law: Glenda Howerton; dear friend: Linda Eland; along with many other family members and friends.

Marian was preceded in death by: one son: Terry Howerton; one brother: Charles, two sisters: Pauline and Edith, two granddaughters: Stephanie Son and Larissa Murray; and one son-in-law: Steve Son.

Marian’s family will celebrate her with a memorial at a later date. Cadieu Funeral Home is assisting the Baird family with arrangements.
