An avid trout fisherman and outdoorsman, Guy found profound joy in nature’s beauty. He spent countless hours fishing and exploring the outdoors–passions that defined much of his life. As the proud owner of Chocolay River Taxidermy, he combined his love for wildlife with exceptional craftsmanship, creating works that celebrated the natural world. His talents extended to carpentry, where he took great pride in building and creating with his hands. Remodeling his home alongside his nephew Levi, who was his right-hand man, brought him immense satisfaction.

Guy’s memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His love for the outdoors and dedication to his craft will continue to inspire all who were fortunate enough to share in his life. May he rest peacefully in the embrace of nature he so deeply cherished.

A memorial service will be announced in the spring for a celebration of life to take place this summer.
