Gail Kluetsch
GWINN, MI- Gail Ann Kluetsch, 75, of Gwinn, entered eternal life Saturday afternoon, January 18, 2025 at UPHS Marquette.
Gail was born October 27, 1949 in Ishpeming to Elzy ‘Bucky’ and Doris (Gill) Hutchens and graduated from Gwinn High School, Class of 1967. She was employed for 18 years at Woolworth’s Store and continued those cherished friendships with monthly lunch dates. Gail then worked various other jobs, most enjoying working with children at the Gwinn Schools and YMCA, forming special relationships with Rudy and Adeline.
Gail was a lifelong member of Gwinn United Methodist Church and cherished the Bible she received during confirmation. Her love language was cooking for other people and she enjoyed collecting cookbooks. In her younger years, she had a beautiful vegetable garden that she enjoyed.
Surviving are her loving and devoted sister, Sandy Anway; special sister-in-law, Lynn Hutchens; caring step-daughter, Tamara (Dan) Frank; step-son, Scott Kluetsch; beautiful granddaughter, Heather Hammond; special nephews: Don Hutchens, Gary Hutchens, Steven Marchany; great-nephews, Austin and Jason; great-nieces, McKeller, Lakelynn and Carley; and very special great-grandsons, Mason and Brandon.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband and love of her life, Patrick Kluetsch; brother, Don Hutchens; brother-in-law, Alan Anway; mother-in-law, Blanche; and all of her furry friends.
Gail’s family extends a special thank you to Dr. Kroll and Dr. Steele for their compassion and care provided.
Visitation will be held from 12:00 noon until the time of memorial services at 1:00 pm on Saturday, January 25th at the Gwinn Funeral Home with Rev. Jack Busche officiating. A luncheon will follow. Interment will take place in the Gwinn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to UPAWS in Gail’s memory.
