Andrew Carl Olson (Drew)

Andrew Carl Olson (Drew) was born in Marquette, MI to Evald and Shirley Olson, passed away after a courageous battle with cancer. He was a Navy veteran. After his service he worked various jobs: roofing, bartending, masonry and construction in Washington, Wisconsin, and Minot, SD.

His last years, he was a member of the local 1329 Iron Mountain.

He enjoyed fishing, sitting outside drinking beverages, discussing life’s ups and downs. He loved his western movies and was a master at crossword puzzles and was an avid Green Packers fan and a member of the American Legion Post 349.

Drew was proceeded in death by his grandparents; Albert and Anne (VanPembrook) Walstrom of Aurora, WI, Andrew and Bertha (Haglund) Olson of Skandia, MI, Evald and Shirley Walstrom (Olson Furr), stepfather; Murphy Furr, half brothers; Jay and Kevin Furr.

He is survived by his brother; Ronald (Terri) Olson, sisters; Laurie (Jerome) Tengensdahl, Diane (Gerald) Demeuse, 2 children; Mallory and Caleb Olson, numerous nieces and nephews. Too many to mention.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
