LISA POTTER

TOMAH, WI — Lisa Potter passed away peacefully, on the morning of December 16th, 2021, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, in Tomah, WI.

Lisa was the loving wife of Rick Potter, they were married April 4th, 2016 in Tomah, where they made their home. Born November 26th, 1974, in Escanaba MI, she is the daughter of Linda (Jack) White of Germfask, MI and Albert Brock of Manistique, MI. Lisa attended elementary school in Germfask, she graduated from High School in Newberry, MI. After high school she enlisted in the United States Navy, where she served honorably for 4 years. Upon returning from the Navy, she attended college at Northern Michigan University where she graduated with a Bachelor’s degree.

Lisa enjoyed spending time with and FaceTiming with her daughters and grandsons. She had the ability to find things funny and enjoyed making people laugh. She had a good eye for home and garden design. Her cat, Penelope, provided companionship and unconditional love.

Lisa was preceded in death by her father-in-law; Wayne Kopydlowski of Genoa, WI on November 14th, 2021, maternal grandparents; Robert and Marion Jack and paternal grandparents; Roy and Mildred Brock.

Survivors include her loving husband; Rick, her parents, mother-in-law; Patricia Kopydlowski of Genoa, her daughter; Hannah (Cordell) Strait of McConnellsburg, PA, daughter; Olivia Rile of Germfask, stepdaughter; Tatyana LaRock of Green Bay, WI, grandsons; Shade and Sam Strait, siblings; Karen Gonzalez of West Allis, WI, Paul (Kathy) Brock of Newberry, Amy (Tom) Gorey of Ewa Beach, HI, David (Christine) Brock of Germfask, half-sisters; Kelly Brock and Casey Brock of Manistique, sisters-in-law; Tamara (Seth Lapalm) Kopydlowski of Milwaukee, WI, Amanda Kopydlowski and Samantha Kopydlowski of Genoa, as well as, many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

A celebration of life will be held in Germfask in the Spring. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to veteran’s organizations in her name.
