MARQUETTE — Gwinn played Negaunee in High School Bowl and won by a score of 300-170. Thirty-six schools from the Upper Peninsula and Northern Wisconsin compete in WNMU-TV’s High School Bowl tournament, now celebrating 46 years on the air. Gwinn will advance to the second round when they play Newberry, scheduled to air on Feb. 1. Running from November through the championship game in April, the High School Bowl series airs on WNMU-TV Saturdays at 8 pm and Mondays at 3 pm.
