‘Legally Blonde’ to be performed

ISHPEMING — Ishpeming High School students have announced their rendition of the classic film and Broadway musical, “Legally Blonde” beginning Thursday, Apr. 24 at the W.C. Peterson Auditorium.

This production, directed and music directed by Caitlin Palomaki and choreographed by Eliisa Gladwell, is sure to keep audiences fascinated and hooked from the very beginning.

This story follows Elle Woods (Sophia Nerlfi), a fashionable, charismatic, and larger-than-life sorority girl, who seems to have it all until her college boyfriend Warner (Ethan Corp) breaks her heart. This leads Elle through a series of shocking, exciting, and sometimes serious events that teach Elle that staying true to herself is more important than impressing others. The show not only keeps the audience laughing and enthralled, but it also teaches an important lesson.

Performances of “Legally Blonde” are scheduled to take place at 7 p.m. at the W.C. Peterson Auditorium on Thursday, Apr. 24, Friday, Apr. 25, and Saturday, Apr. 26, with an additional matinee performance at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Apr. 26.
