MARQUETTE — The city of Marquette Office of Arts & Culture welcomes the community to nominate individuals, organizations, and businesses for the 28th Annual City of Marquette Art Awards.

Nominees may be nominated for one or more of the eleven categories listed below.

Arts Volunteer, Arts Advocate, Arts Educator, Youth Award, Visual Artist, Performing Artist, Writer of the Year, Special Recognition, Arts Organization, Arts Innovation, and Arts Business. The deadline for nomination is Sunday, June 29, 2025.

To nominate, learn more about the City Annual Art Awards, and find a complete list of previous award recipients please visit www.mqtcompass.com/annual-art-awards. Please note that nominations for non-residents are welcome as long as the nominee has made contributions in the city of Marquette.

Award recipients are honored at a formal ceremony and reception. This year’s ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, Oct. 5 at the Ore Dock Brewing Co.
