HOUGHTON — On Saturday, April 5, the League of Women Voters of the Copper Country will join national partners for Hands Off!, a mobilization in response to the current administration’s attacks on our democracy, fundamental rights and the overreach of power.

Events are being held nationwide. The League of Women Voters of the Copper Country is joining Keweenaw Indivisible, who will register the event.

The LWV and its allies will meet at Bridgeview Park at noon. The group will split in two, and half will walk under the bridge and up the stairs on the west side. It hopes to fill the bridge on both sides!
