MARQUETTE — Millennial mom Emma Knuckman is excited about her new book being on the shelves at “Read My Lips” bookstore in Marquette, where Emma and her husband have a home in his hometown.

Knuckman’s book, “Rewind & Play: ABC the Millennial Way” sparks connections across generations. Millennials are the last generation to grow up without technology at the forefront of daily life, before cell phones, social media and streaming.

From landlines attached to the wall to racing to Blockbuster before closing, childhood in the 90s and early 2000s was filled with low-tech moments and a slower, simpler pace. Now, as parents, many long to share that nostalgia with their kids.

More than an alphabet book, “Rewind & Play: ABC the Millennial Way” is a time capsule celebrating a classic piece of millennial culture, filled with vibrant, candy-colored illustrations and playful rhymes designed to spark conversations between parents and kids — just in time for March is Reading Month.
