DAR has new members
MARQUETTE — At a recent meeting in Marquette, the Onagomingkway chapter of National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, swore in two new members.
Anne Wolfe of Gwinn and Melody Nowicki of Marquette have joined the chapter which has served the western portion of the Upper Peninsula for the past 20 years. NSDAR itself was formed in 1892 and supports the goals of patriotism, education of our youth, and historic preservation.
If you have an ancestor who fought in or performed service to the American Revolutionary cause and are interested in membership, please contact Onagomingkway at park6.michdar.net.
