Regional partners support regional EMS services

IRONWOOD — The EMS program at Gogebic Community College has been awarded an approximate $70k sponsorship to cover the cost of tuition, books, and fees from the Michigan Center for Rural Health.

The program pays full tuition for up to 20 students in our upcoming October cohort and includes a $950 stipend to each student to cover expenses.

The Superior Health Foundation has also awarded GCC approximately $25k to use over the span of a year and also covers tuition, books, fees and instructor coordinators to teach the trainings. All are vital to the success of the program and to get more students in the field working.

Starting at $4.62/week.
