MARQUETTE — Enjoy all-Scottish traditional Celtic music and dance program in celebration of the birthday of Robert Burns (1759-1796), poet laureate of Scotland and prolific historic traditional song and poetry writer and collector.

The presentation will include parlor pipes (bagpipes), accordion, violin, drums, guitars and vocal harmonies with favorite traditional Scottish songs and Scottish dancers and 7 p.m. Jan. 22 in the Community Room of Peter White Public Library in Marquette.

Performers will include Gairin Superior Pipes and Drums, Queen City Adult Ballet, Celtic Music and Failte Celtic Band of Escanaba.

This is a family friendly event for all to enjoy.
