KMI recognized by Forbes
MARQUETTE — Kall Morris Inc. of Marquette, a leader in space logistics and sustainable orbital operations, has announced that two of its co-Founders, Adam Kall and Austin Morris, have been named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list for 2024 in the Transportation and Mobility category. This recognition highlights its contributions to the future of space exploration and sustainability.
Kall and Morris’ inclusion in Forbes 30 Under 30 underscores their leadership in pushing the boundaries of the space industry. Their story started by seeking to provide a solution to the global problem of orbital debris, eventually evolving into additional use-cases for their new technology which can address end-of-life servicing, post-launch orbit changes, and active debris removal.
Through their work at KMI, these offerings are ensuring a safer and more sustainable orbital environment for future generations. Their dedication to advancing sustainable practices in space logistics has not only garnered industry accolades, but also positioned KMI as a trailblazer in this emerging field.
Soon after being selected for the Forbes list, Kall and Morris supported the science session on the International Space Station for their REACCH prototype, which is the largest experiment involving the Astrobee platform by mass, volume and power draw. The experiment was their first payload to the ISS and space, was completed in half the expected time and worked without issue as soon as it was unpacked.
“This recognition is a testament to the incredible work of our entire team at KMI,” said Adam Kall, co-founder and director of science. “We’re honored to be included among so many inspiring individuals driving innovation across industries.”
Austin Morris, co-founder and director of engineering, added, “It’s incredibly gratifying to have our work acknowledged and celebrated by Forbes. It highlights our commitment to solving critical challenges for the benefit of humanity.
