Local podiatrist lectures
MARQUETTE — Dr. Conway McLean, an area physician, lectured recently at a national conference for foot care nurses. McLean is a podiatrist and director of Superior Foot and Ankle Centers here in the Upper Peninsula.
McLean lectured on the prevention of diabetic lower extremity amputations and also on foot and leg biomechanics and the problems that result.
This is the second year Dr. McLean has lectured at this conference which attracts foot care nurses from all across the country.
