MARQUETTE — The American Association of University Women Marquette branch spring book sale is scheduled from Thursday through Saturday at the First Presbyterian Church located at 120 N. Front St., Marquette.

The book sale of over 10,000 gently read books, games, puzzles, DVDs and CDs that were generously donated by the surrounding community will kick off on Thursday with a pre-sale beginning from 5-8 p.m. ($5 admission) continuing on Friday from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. (no admission) and will conclude on Saturday with a super Saturday event beginning at 9 a.m. until noon where everything is half off and a $5 bag sale beginning at 12:15 p.m.-3 p.m.

The event will raise money to help support AAUW’s mission of advancing gender equity for women and girls including local academic scholarship.
