MSP seeks public’s help after break-in at Crystal Falls church
CRYSTAL FALLS — The Michigan State Police is requesting the public’s assistance with developing investigative leads following a break-in at a Crystal Falls-area church.
At about 6 p.m. March 25, state troopers from the Iron Mountain post troopers responded to a break-in at the Faith Fellowship Bible Church located at 1314 U.S. 2 in Crystal Falls.
It was discovered the church had been broken into and a gallon-sized jar containing money had been stolen.
The jar is believed to have contained between $600 and $800 dollars in various denominations. The jar was described as having a push-to-seal lid and an orange adhesive backing construction paper label on it with the words “SAMS BURU” on the front.
The investigation is still ongoing, and no arrests have been made so far. MSP is requesting the public’s help in identifying the suspect(s) or providing any information that could aid in the investigation.
