Marquette farmers market gears up for 2025 season

MARQUETTE — The Downtown Marquette Farmers Market has announced a one-day membership sale and preview Market from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, at the Marquette Commons.

This special event invites the community to kick off the market season early with a taste of what’s to come — and a chance to support local food, art and small businesses.

The preview market will feature a small selection of returning and new vendors offering early-season goods from fresh-baked treats and small-batch goods to handcrafted items. It’s a sneak peek at the flavors and creativity the full season will bring.

While shopping, interested parties can become 2025 market members by donating $100 (cash or check) or $105 (card). Members help sustain the Marquette farmer’s market and receive exclusive benefits all season long, including 15 minutes of early access to each week’s market, discounts on market merchandise, the opportunity to ring the opening bell and special members-only activities throughout the season.

Only 100 memberships are available for the 2025 season, and this year’s limited-edition pin celebrates the Year of the Blueberry.

The regular market season begins at 9 a.m. on Saturday May 17.

Starting at $3.50/week.
