‘The Big Read’ event to be held Thursday at U.P. Children’s Museum

MARQUETTE — On Thursday, the Upper Peninsula Children’s Museum will host “The Big Read” as its Second Thursday Activity Series event.

The event is in collaboration with the Peter White Public Library, as March is celebrated as National Reading Month. It will feature the group Cloverland in concert.

“Explore words and music at the UPCM,” the website states. “Come to play, listen, write and tell your story.”

The event will feature hands-on craft activities, music, seed planting and free Culver’s frozen custard. It is free to participate.
