Restaurant week to offer diverse culinary experiences

MARQUETTE — Downtown Marquette’s gastronomic giants are gearing up for the town’s annual Restaurant Week next week.
The week that runs from Sunday to the following Saturday gives area residents the opportunity to support local restaurants by sampling a variety of dining options, such as seafood, baked goods, a variety of sandwiches and more.
Participating restaurants will offer specials, discounts or even new dishes as part of the event to showcase downtown Marquette’s culinary scene. Specials are subject to change.
As of Sunday, the following restaurants will be participating in Restaurant Week, along with their anticipated offerings. More menus are expected to be released online closer to the event.
Restaurants in downtown Marquette participating include:
≤ 906 Sports Bar & Grill (located at 145 W. Washington St.).
≤ Elizabeth’s Chop House (located at 113 S. Front St.).
≤ Four Swords Retropub (located at 130 W. Washington St. inside the Masonic Square Mall) .
≤ Lagniappe Cajun Creole Eatery (located at 145 Jackson Cut Alley).
≤ Northland Gastropub (located at 230 N. Front St., inside the Landmark Inn).
≤ The Portside Inn (located at 239 W. Washington St.).
≤ Slabz Bar & Grill (located at 412 W. Washington St., inside the Ramada Inn)
≤ The Vierling Restaurant & Marquette Harbor Brewery (located at 119 S. Front St.).
≤ Togo’s (located at 1000 N. Third St.).
