Gwinn man faces multiple charges

MARQUETTE — The identity of the Gwinn man who was arrested Tuesday for multiple felony offenses has been released.
Louis Hemphill, 31, faces the following charges: first-degree home invasion; assault with a dangerous weapon; felony firearm, assault causing great bodily harm; aggravated domestic violence; and resisting or obstructing a police officer.
Hemphill has been arraigned in Marquette County’s 96th District Court on charges related to the incident.
His bond has been set at $300,000, and his next court appearance is scheduled for March 13, according to a Michigan State Police press release.
