ISHPEMING — A structure fire was reported at Coaches Motel & Trailer Court in Ishpeming around noon Tuesday.

Ishpeming firefighters found a trailer ablaze and managed to contain the fire to that single unit. It was extinguished in a few hours.

The Ishpeming Fire Department, Champion Fire Department and the Marquette County Sheriff’s Office all were assisting at the scene of the fire.

Thus far, no fatalities have been reported and it is believed the residents were not home when the fire took place.

The Ishpeming Township Fire department could not be reached for comment.
