The Mining Journal continues accepting Cheer Club donations
MARQUETTE — The Mining Journal continues to welcome donations for its annual Cheer Club fundraiser.
With the holidays rapidly approaching, there’s still time to donate in support of children and families in the community. Remaining donations will also be collected and distributed, so if you haven’t had a chance to drop off a donation, there’s no time like the present (pun intended).
Want to help out, but not sure what to give? We’re looking for any of the following items:
≤ Toys
≤ Books (for all ages, including pre-teens and teenagers)
≤ Art supplies
≤ Gift cards to local businesses
≤ Movie passes
≤ Winter hats and gloves/mittens
≤ Bikes
≤ Hygiene items (toothbrushes/toothpaste, soaps, hair care, etc.)
≤ Card and board games
≤ Food certificates/gift cards
≤ Monetary donations
Any donations can be dropped off at The Mining Journal’s Marquette offices at 249 W. Washington St.from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday.
