Moving, junk hauling franchise opens U.P. location
NEGAUNEE — The College HUNKS — standing for Honest, Uniformed, Nice, Knowledgeable, Service — franchise has opened up a location in the Upper Peninsula, now offering junk hauling and moving services to the community.
The Lake Superior Community Partnership assisted College HUNKS with a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Nov. 7 to celebrate the opening of their physical location at 363 US-41 East in Negaunee.
Franchise owners Maxfield and Michelle Dukler will continue to provide the company’s signature services, which include donation pickups, general labor assistance, junk removal and moving services for area residents and businesses.
“At College HUNKS, we truly live up to our name–Honest, Uniformed, Nice, Knowledgeable, Service,” said Max Dukler in a press release.“Our team is dedicated to delivering a friendly, respectful experience that people can trust, whether they’re seeking moving support, junk removal, or other specialized services.”
In addition to their advertised services, College HUNKS is a brand that is dedicated to helping their communities, and the company recently celebrated giving 5 million meals to U.S. Hunger by donating two meals for every moving or junk-hauling job completed. The Marquette County team plans to connect with these efforts, working with community and events and local charities.
The location will service clients in Ishpeming, Harvey, Gwinn, Escanaba, Munising, Houghton, Iron Mountain, Gladstone, Republic, Rock River, Au Train and Christmas.
College HUNKS will also be offering a $100 discount on all services ordered by first responders from Oct. 21 to Nov. 30 as a way to thank the police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical technicians in their communities.
