ISHPEMING — The Ishpeming Area Historical Society will host its annual general meeting at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Mather Inn, 107 E. Canda St. in Ishpeming.

The event will begin with a meet and greet, Q&A, and light refreshments. At 7 p.m., Ishpeming historian Karen Kasper will offer a presentation on the history of the Mather Inn, the Nelson House and the earlier “Magnificent Barnum House.” The society’s board meeting will follow.
