MARQUETTE - Former Northern Michigan University offensive lineman Jace Daniels of Escanaba missed the final cut of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, though his dreams of being on a roster this season aren't necessarily over.
Tampa Bay joined the other 31 NFL teams in having to make their final roster cuts from 75 to 53 on Saturday.
But Daniels could still join the practice squad of the Bucs or any other NFL team that claims him.
Daniels signed with the Florida team during the summer after rookie camp as an undrafted free agent.
On Tuesday with the 75-man squad, Tampa listed 12 offensive linemen with Daniels third on the depth chart at center.
