Summer plant sale at MCCD

MARQUETTE - Marquette County Conservation District's Summer Grasses, Wildflowers and Berries Sale will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday at the conservation district office at 780 Commerce Drive, Suite C, Marquette.

A variety of grasses and wildflowers will be available for $2 per plant, with special pricing on multi-plant packs: $6 and $8, and full flats: $45. Some of the species include agrimony, big bluestem grass, purple coneflower, black-eyed Susan, Canadian wild rye, swamp milkweed, bee balm, little blue stem grass, butterfly weed, and Arctic kiwi ($10 starter kits.)

Also, the thimbleberries have arrived and previously placed spring orders will bee available for pick up Thursday. For more information, call the MCCD at 226-2461, ext 102.
