Time for action

June 17, 2013
Mike Wickstrom , The Mining Journal

To the Journal editor:

If we don't build it they will have to pay more! This is exactly what the big oil companies are saying!

Big oil refuses to use there record profits to build new refineries because if they did have new refineries they couldn't play the supply and demand shell game that now is affecting our gas prices.

Why can't the federal and state governments withhold subsidies to big oil when they make huge profits and refuse to invest in their own infrastructure like building new refineries.

Come on, American public, let's call our state and federal representatives and demand they put the squeeze on big oil to stop this price gouging game they are playing!
