Young crafter supports UPDON

April 18, 2013
The Mining Journal

Haley Anderson, 9, the daughter of Brooke and John Anderson of Marquette, presents U.P. Diabetes Outreach Network Director Ann Constance with a check for $104.50. Anderson donated a portion of the proceeds she made from selling bracelets and key chains she made and recently sold at a craft fair in Munising. Successfully living with type 1 diabetes has inspired her to support UPDON's programs and projects so others can have the support and education they need to live healthy lives with diabetes or to prevent type 2 diabetes.
