To the Journal editor:
I sent an email to U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein, D-Calif., on March 14. I guess I should have expected the response I got. "Due to the overwhelming amount of emails, we are unable to respond to yours."
Evidently she doesn't want to deal with the truth of the matter: guns don't kill people, people kill people.
The only reason we are still citizens and not subjects is because of gun ownership. As the saying goes, "Fear the government that fears your guns." Our forefathers were right in wording the U.S. Constitution and the Bill of Rights the way they did.
If our right to own fire arms is taken away, the rest of our rights go out the window with it. It's time these career politicians learn they work for the people, not the other way around.
Fed up with the lies.
