Amstrong wins VFW essay contest

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6 of Marquette recently honored Megan Armstrong as the local winner of a national essay contest. Shown from left are Post Commander Jack Rombouts, Armstrong, Adjutant Dave McGowan and essay contest Chairman Greg Durand. The topic of the 2012 essay was: "Is the U.S. Constitution Relevant Today?" Armstrong received a certificate, a $100 prize and advancement to the district competition.
