January 13, 2013
The Mining Journal

Employees of the Oscar G. Johnson Veterans Administration Medical Center in Iron Mountain and its seven community based outpatient clinics raised $35,759 during its 2012 Combined Federal Campaign, which is part of the United Way organization. Shown with a ceremonial check are members of the medical center's 2012 CFC committee, from left, Brad Nelson, Connie Flitton, Breanda Mason and Bridget Jacko, and medical center Director Jim Rice. All federal agencies across the nation participate in CFC each year. The medical center's total contribution represents 35 percent of the $103,403 raised by 31 federal work locations across the Upper Peninsula.
