MARQUETTE - The Marquette Area Public Schools Education Foundation is aiming to establish a Christmas tradition by providing a gathering for visiting and local alumni to socialize and celebrate the holidays Dec. 26.

The foundation is inviting the graduates of Marquette schools - including Marquette Senior High School, Gravereat High School, J.D. Pierce and Bishop Baraga High School - to the inaugural Holiday Homecoming at the Landmark inn. Festivities begin at 6:30 p.m.

"Alumni have expressed an interest in finding an opportunity to visit with one another," foundation President Tom Baldini said. "This setting will provide that opportunity for local and returning graduates of the Marquette schools to visit and share holiday greetings. The plan is to continue this annually on the 26th of December with the hope that it becomes a tradition for the community. The Foundation wants to thank the Landmark for providing the venue and supporting our mission."

For more information, contact the foundation at 225-5324 or visit its Facebook page.
