Businesses back Breast Health Fund

During Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, local businesses raised funds to donate to the Superior Health Foundation to put into a Breast Health Fund. Included was Lakeshore Skin Care in Marquette, which donated a percentage of the proceeds of its skin treatments, totaling $1,000. Shown at the check presentation are, from left, registered nurse Kim Kevern, licensed esthetician Bonnie Campbell, office manager Rachel Griffin, Jim LaJoie, executive director of the Superior Health Foundation, and registered nurse Therese Letts. Applebee's of Marquette donated $646 to the foundation, raising the funds through donation by employees and customers.
