MARQUETTE - Northern Michigan University's football team will have seniors representing the Wildcats in college all-star games today and next weekend.

Defensive lineman Zach Anderson and offensive lineman Jace Daniels will play in today's third annual National Bowl Game at J. Birney Crum Stadium in Allentown, Pa.

Kicker Rockne Belmonte will be in the Division 2 vs. NAIA Scout Bowl on Saturday in Myrtle Beach, S.C.

"It's critical whenever you can get our university all-star game exposure and it's a feather in their cap that they were invited to play in these games and be recognized as one of the best players in the country at their position," NMU football coach Chris Ostrowksy said.

Anderson and Daniels will play against each other, as Anderson is on the Blue team and Daniels the Red. Both were All-GLIAC first team selections.

Belmonte, also a first team All-GLIAC selection, was recently named a Beyond Sports Network All-American as a Second Team choice.

He finished his career with 45 field goals to break NMU's career mark and also holds school records for most field goals in a season (15) and longest field goal (58 yards).
