Carruth is Eagle Scout

Aaron Carruth of Boy Scout Troop 370 chartered to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints received the Eagle Scout Award at a recent Court of Honor at the church. Aaron's Eagle Scout project consisted of trail improvements on the Noquemanon Trails. Highlights of his Scouting years in addition to summer camps at Camp Hiawatha included hiking the Pictured Rocks and a bike hike in the Keweenaw Peninsula. Aaron is a senior at Marquette Senior High School where he is a member of the band, swim team, and school newspaper staff. He also served as president of his church young men's groups. Following graduation, he plans to serve a two-year mission for his church. Eagle Scout Aaron Carruth is pictured with his parents Kelly and Todd Carruth and Scoutmaster Dr. Stuart Johnson.
