MARQUETTE - Rapid River's 20-16 loss to Bellaire Saturday means there won't be an MHSAA 8-player state championship game in Marquette's Superior Dome.
Instead, Bellaire will meet Deckerville at 7 p.m. on Friday in Greenville, just northeast of Grand Rapids. Deckerville beat Portland St. Patrick 36-30 in double-overtime Saturday to advance to the title game.
