To the Journal editor:
I am 40-years old, married, the father of two and I am running for Sands Township supervisor. Because I was born and raised in this township, my feelings of respect and concern for its welfare are deeply rooted.
I learned from my grandfather Clarence Yelle and his cousin Earl, both of whom spent years working on behalf of the township, that a public official cannot allow his personal opinion to cloud his judgement about what's best for the majority of his fellow taxpayers.
If elected, I believe that I, as Sands Township supervisor, will represent the people of the township and will be an accountable and effective guardian of the public trust and resources. I am committed to providing effective and efficient public services designed to enhance the quality of life of the citizens of our township. I will conduct the affairs of our township openly and ethically and manage our growth and development in a manner that respects our environment and preserves the unique character and identity of our community.
