To the Journal editor:
As a displaced Yooper from Ishpeming, the overwhelming support and caring for the family of a 13 year-old boy recently killed in a car wreck brought tears to my eyes.
It also left me with another reason to always keep the old home town and its inhabitants strong in my heart.
Go Yoopers, stay honest, and above all caring and loyal of each other and your roots. You make me proud to wear my Yooper cap.
