To the Journal editor:
The members of the Marquette District of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul wish to thank the Sands Speedway for sharing the collection of non-perishable items donated by their fans and thanks to Joy for coordinating the effort.
The donations will help ease the burdens of our less fortunate neighbors. It is only through the cooperation and generosity of organizations and caring people like yourselves that we are able to assist the needy of our area.
