Andrew Plomer scored Marquette's lone goal in the second period on assists by Ethan St. Germain and Nicholas Franze.
The Electricians of head coach Mark Nebel put 34 shots (11-12-11) on the Kings' goal. Thunder Bay recorded 35 shots (9-12-14).
