Community fund backs cabin project

Jim Thomas, left, of the Negaunee Lions Club and Donna Gravedoni-Bjork of the Negaunee Historical Society accept a $2,000 check from Jeremy Hosking, president of the Negaunee Area Community Fund, to support the restoration of the Samuel Collins Log Cabin in Negaunee. Part of the mission of the community fund is to provide financial support for historic preservation projects in the city of Negaunee, Negaunee Township and Richmond Township.
